On Thursday 17th of May all second-years went on a history excursion to Cobh and Spike Island. First the students visited some of the famous landmarks in Cobh, where during a history orienteering exercise with teachers, students took creative photos.
After a lovely lunch in the the sunshine our students boarded the ferry to Spike Island. At Spike Island everyone received a guided tour, and enjoyed rambling around the excellent facilities and exploring the island’s rich history. Thanks to the staff at Spike Island for providing us with such an educational and fun visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our day!
