Leo Club

This club is for students who want to get involved within the community.  The club meets during lunchtime. The students partake in fundraising activities. They also link in with the local community and the Carrigaline Lions Club with events that they are running.

This year the students began with a fundraiser for Pieta House. They held a casual day within the school. This was followed by the Lions Club Christmas food appeal. The students made 11 food hampers for the Lions Club food appeal. This went to families in the Carrigaline area.

The students then played a huge role in the Mental Health Awareness week in February which culminated in a coffee morning for parents, staff and students in aid of Childline. This was really enjoyed by both parents, staff and students. The students baked cakes and money was donated.

The students are also receiving citizenship awards from the Edmund Rice Schools Trust for their work with the Leo Club this year.

Members of the club were also instrumental in the school achieving the Amber Flag which will be presented on Thursday 25th of May 2017.
